FOUNDATION
A secure foundation is fundamental to every construction project. Foundation quality greatly influences a project’s longevity. lt requires not only sufficient construction machines and equipments but also a number of engineers and staffs experienced and knowledgeable in geology, topography, hydro-graphy... at the construction site together with a contingent of skilled workers.
Thang Long has been applying new technologies, investing such modern, advenced drilling machines as TRC 15, QJ-250-1, BV 2000, ED-5500. . . These machines enable the Corporation to construct 1000-3000mm-in-diameter bored piles through various geological strata. Thang Long has accordingly succeeded in treatment for construction of a significant number of the foundations having complicated geological conditions such as caisson construction (

; bored pile drilling through inclined hard rock layer of 1200kg/cm2 in rigidity (Viet Tri, Hoang Long bridges); bored pile drilling through casters (Da Bac, Hiep Thuong, Ro bridges). Thang Long has also successfully completed bored pile construction for numerous multi-storey buildings such as Ha Noi international technology center, Meritus West Lake Hotel, Nikko Hotel...
Road embankment construction through soft soil areas always requires special treatment, Thang Long construction corporation has therefore invested in specialized machines and equipmen to construct sand wells and vertical drains.
